I have a pair of clowns that I think are looking for a home.. I was thinking of a bubble tip - but I am a little hasty. I am VERY carefull with my tank after a LFS sold me a bubble tip WAY before I and my tank was ready. I FAR lacked the knowledge to take care of the pet and through my own lack of know how - it died :-(. IT STUNK UP MY ENTIRE HOUSE LOL. I would like to give it a go but would like to pick one that may be a little easier to take care of. Your recomendations are welcome - thanks in advance.

Not sure of your lights, but if you haven't done A LOT of reading on anemones dont even think of getting one. They take specifc lighting and like to move around sometimes, killing other corals.

I have 4 clowns and one set paired up and has been laying eggs for years. They love my toadstool leather, my frogspawn, my hammer, devils hand leather. Each clown pickes their favorite and rubs themselves all over it. They have been very happy without an anemone for 9 years, and my corals are doing extremely well. My hammer added 3 more heads in the last year.

Pick an easy leather and eventually they'll probably find it.

Wow - thats a great idea, I do have upgraded lighting but that sounds like a MUCH safer bet. What coral do you think would be most likely to lure them in? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

My clowns are trying to host a feather duster and would have nothing to do with the anemone when I had one in the tank. (took it back so I wouldn't kill it)

out of all the hosting anemones, BTA's are cosidered the more manageable.

What lights do you have - its a key factor to keep anemones.
