hot pink eggs

ok check this out.a glob of hot pink eggs was floating in my tank.it looked like bubble gum.then it seperated into thousands of tiny eggs.heres a photo of the tiny eggs all through my tank

 

do you have star fish? ours green star released bright orange ones into our tank but most were sucked up by the power heads. they looked like those little balls of candy you get on christmas cookies. same size and everything. try posting this in ID This you might get more responce.

Can you tell us what types of corals you have?

 

i have lots of starfish and they have bread before.most my corals are softies.mushrooms,leathers,toadstool,zenia,duncan,red lobo brain,zoas,sinularia,nepthiai have a mandarine goby, green chromie,domino damsewl,molly.i'm thinking its the starfish.its a brown an tan stiped sepant type star that gets maybe 3 inches at most and i most have a hundred

 

I suspect your lobophyllia spawned

 

also,i found a long strand of them coming out of my large lavender frilly mushroom.i will get pics up soon.idk if it was eatting or if the eggs came from it
