hot tub as reef tank

I saw a trough tank ready to chucked out. I thought how cool as a bar top? Same principle though. You have to look down and so do the lights. You'll get a pretty good tan on the back of your neck though. For me, it wouldn't work as a display tank. The novelty would wear off and the jokes would start. At least with my friends.

A frag tank seems like the best idea. That can be a money maker too. You won't need so many pumps so the cost should lower.

 

i was going to set one up as a rock tank for seeding home made live rock with natural sunlight as your friend...... but i was told that the clorine permiates the fittings and such.
did you have any issues with clorine saltwatermania (sorry haven't had time to watch your build)
