well im looking to get something else for my 55 that can live with my S brasiliensis that i have.

i know he can get stuff up to half his size and that grazers arent the best because he looks like a rock but im having a lot of trouble finding some other fish to go with rocky (s. brasiliensis). a trip to the LFS has me looking at a Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Singapore Angelfish. it says difficult but i have a lot of sponges i could transport from the 30 to the 55 gallon now to get them multiplying.

so now im wondering, if this wont work (im willing to take a risk here with this fish) what will work? most other scorps get 4 inch max so there no good. maybe a dwarf lion but im not too sure if i really want another one of those, ive never had good luckj with them.

what else would work with this fish i have?

If you want to try it, but angelfish, especially marked "difficult" really scare me. They often have a hard time adjusting to home aquariums and starve to death....and I don't think that's fair to the fish. I feel some fish should stay in the ocean. But that's just my opinion. It's totally up to you. Some people like to try difficult fish and have success with them.

ill only get it if its eating in the store. ill go back to see if it eats later. its just one of the fish that my scorp couldnt take out due to the angels size. its already about 4-5 inches (angel) in there tanks. has no visible sign of injury, and swims around a lot.

Oh okay, I thought you were going to buy online. I missed that part about your LFS having one. If it is eating well and seems healthy, I don't see why not. Eating is the main issue.

well you could try a different type of angel, like the blue faced angel. ( i cant remember tank size for it so dont trust me 100% on that one)

you could get maybe a pair of dwarf angels? i dont think your fish would harm them would he? *i need to read a bit ( or a lot lol) on him*

could you post a pic of your current fish? the brasiliensis? i googled it and i got a picture of a bunny? and a butterfly?( not the fish)

The problem is, most large sized angels, like the blue face need big tanks. The Japanese one Gexx is talking about only needs 50 gallons.
