    hey everyone, i have a 90 gal reef, bought it from a guy a few days ago, lotta coral, 2 clown fish, 1 starry blenny, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 harlequin, and some sort of clam thats really neat. the light has 2 MH, and 2 T5HO 48". theres pics on my profile if you wanna check it out.

    the tanks parameters:

    PO4 = <0.3
    KH/Alk = 13.8
    Ca = 500
    NH3/NH4+ = 0
    NO2- =0
    NO3-=0
    pH=8.4
    daytime temp 80
    SG=1.026

    those stats are taken the same time every day, and have been the same 5 days in a row, for PO4, KH/alk, and Ca, im using Salifert test kits and for the other stuff im usingAPI saltwater mater test kit, a refractometer, and a im tank floatin thermometer.

    everything is eating and no signs of stress on anything.

    i dont plan to add anything withing the next 3 weeks, other than a star fish or two for my harlequin's food.

    my question is this:

    what website do you guys use to buy your fish/frags/everything else?

    i know i can get stuff from my LFS, and if its somthing they dont have they can get it for me, but what the differance between them ordering it, and me ordering it online, other than having to pay S&H?

    when buying somthing that my LFS ordered for me, can i have them keep it for a while before i pick it up, sortta using them as a QT tank?

    also if anyone can lemme know how to properly care for the clam that'd help alot too:)

    thanks for all your advice !!

    -Billie

    Live Aquaria is always a good bet, albeit a little expensive. Never had anything but good luck with them.

    First your ca and Kh are high. Kh should be between 7-12 and ca between 380-460 this according to majority.

    For fish: HappyCoral Inc now has a wonderful fish list up! I just ordered a White Banded Possum Wrasse :)
