How are these fish for new saltwarer setup?

Tank has finished cycling about 2 weeks ago, been waiting to play it safe.

Heres the list of the fish I've been considering. Will these all get along? any other issues I should know about them?

1 Orangeback Basslet (Serranus annularis)
2 Black & White Percula clown (Amphiprion ocellaris)
1 Fridmani dottyback (Pseudochromis fridmani)
1 Mandarin Dragonet – Green (Pterosynchiropus splendidus)
1 Mandarin Dragonet – Spotted (Synchiropus picturatus)
1 Neon Goby – Goldline (Gobiosoma sp.)
1 Shrimpgoby - Yellow Watchman (Cryptocentrus cinctus)[/I][/I]

Also, I think my list is a little large for a 55 gallon and will probably have to drop a few from the list, so if one or two have compatibilty issues that will make my decision easier.
Also, how do anenome's and coral and cleaner crew effect bio-load, do they reduce the amount of fish I can have? by how much?

drop the mandarins for a while... your going to want a very established tank for them. also they get aggresive towrds one another unless they are mated. im not so sure about the color morphs but to play it safe i would keep one or a pair (same species) when the time comes. at least a year, and you know you have enough copepods in there to sustain them.

and the watchman is going to like a lot of critters in the sand so i would hold off on him too. at least in the beginning.

i mean everything else should be fine in that sized tank, but remember take it slow. dont thow everything in there at once. one at a time and youll be fine!

 

Drop the Mandarin dragonets. They will only eat pods, and your tank is to new to have a healthy population. Add the dottyback last!! I have a neon dottyback, and he is evil, lol. Killed a firefish, and a pepperment shrimp. I think for a 55 you list looks good to me. All the fish are small, so youll be good. Good luck finding a pair of black ocellaris clowns. I gave up, and just bought a true purcula. Corals, anemones, and most inverts add a low bio load, so I wouldnt worry about it. With the manderians gone you could add another fish, like a fairy wrasse, or mybe a dwarf angel. Let us know how it goes, and just remember to add the fish slow.

Thanks for the quick reply's. I will hold off on the dragonets for awhile. Would the clowns have to be mated or would 2 if added at the same time get along?

 

lol yeah.

but yeah they would fight. unless you get one larger than the other. but if they are small enough, then they will choose who the female will be.

 

+ that. If you get two small clowns, around 1 inch or smaller, you can by any two and they will work out who will be the female. If you get one large one, and one small one the pairing will go alot easier because they small one will already know who is boss, . Pairing clowns is easy, you just have to buy them at the right size. Same goes for alot of saltwater fish. They like to change sex for some reason, .

I would hold off on the basslets. They are very aggressive for their small size and especially with more than one in a tank! You may be better of trying a Royal Gramma as they are very beautiful with a mild temperment as well.
As mentioned above, Dragonets need a mature tank with a large amount of pods with which to feed as they are specialized feeders and as for the gobies, the shrimp goby will also require live pods etc. in the substrate as well.
I would try reading one of the many good books available to help you in your selection of the best fish for your tank based on husbandry, compatability and coloration. This will ensure that you make the right choices, to make you successful and keep your livestock alive, healthy and happy.
