    LOL

Never again. Not unless I'm the 100% owner. Ryan didn't know squat but because of his families money, I was stuck being partner with him. Steve knew fish well but not corals nor business at all.

Since I left, it's all gone down the crapper. The QT facility has more gallons of water than most LFS's have.....yet there's not a single coral in the coral QT tanks, not a single clam in the clam QT, nor a single fish in the fish QT tanks. They are putting them straight into the tanks in the store now.

I am feeling it hard. Being self employed in the auto industry is not fun at all right now. I like to spend the money when I have it, but that is few and far between for me lately. I was late on ALL my bills this month

So far, we are doing ok. So far. I'm a teacher & our school district's budget for the 07-08 and 08-09 years has been reduced about $115m. We've been told that next year we are looking at an additional $60-$80m in cuts. I'm not going to mention about the pay freeze for 2 years or the 320+ teachers that may lose their jobs next August.......

Sorry - just had to vent :(

Yeah, I haven't felt it either. I am in a line of work that will always thrive. People will always need meds and there is such a bad pharmacist shortage (and has been for the last 20 years) that we in the industry predict will go on for years and years to come. A double edged situation that is. The good is my payrate increases by leaps and bounds with no problem getting my 40+ hours. The bad is that if a pharmacist calls in sick, you have to pick up the slack. No one to call in. And we are already stessed to the limit. But I can deal with that. If it gets too harry, I just pace myself and if someone has to wait an hour or more for an Rx so be it. Better to get it to them right and slow than wrong and fast. Try telling THAT to someone though!!!!

I have been working at a new casino a lot here lately... it has been most of my work this winter. We have done work for the temporary facility they have up, the main facility & the parking garage. The money dropped in this place would make you sick... we are just happy to get the little amount we have found! Point of this story: where are all the gamblers coming from??? I thought everyone was too scared to buy a new car, but not to gamble:confused:!!

I have a theory that alcohol sales, gambling, and suicide rates go up when the economy goes down. So I spend alot of time at home, cocktail in hand, 3reefing, waiting for Pharmjohn to fill my Xanax script!:hehe:

Well, those things are addictions, and even when you have no money, you still have addictions. And you'll do whatever do get it. We are doing okay. I was working at a petstore, but everyone got laid off when stories came out that we were selling puppy mill puppies. We probably were, but it was the only job I could get, and money is money. Now Im just living with my dad, and he is supporting me, but I'm only 18. I had moved out, but i had to move back in with no job. They almost took away my dads full time status, but he has a contract with his union. He got his full time back, and he is guaranteed a job. So, Im not affected too bad. Still, there are no jobs.
