just wondering how big they can get. i have a ricordea and it is like five inches in diameter! Its in the middle of my tank and rocks right know and im wondering if i should move it to the sand bed, toward the back. Its kinda minimizing the room on the rocks cuz they sting. Its sprouting more heads to!
Here is a pic of my tank

i was thinking of moving the mushroom from where it is in the top, down to the sand bed in this picture by the heater?

My "rule of thumb" is; "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" or in the reef vernacular; "if it grows, let it go".

cool it looks like the kenya tree is droping some branches today. After being shriveled and looking bad for a couple days. Should i let it drop them or should i try to cut it down or pull it out?

I don't think that is a ricordea. Looks more like hairy mushroom. Those get big. Elephant ear shrooms get the biggest.
