I've noticed this thing is getting big over the last few months. I guess I didn't do good research... Just noticed they get a foot long .. wow.
    He's probably 6 inches now.

My son back in Va. rents my house there and I have a built in 125 upstairs and he was setting there one night called me in a panic and said POP!!! what did I just see it was black and yellow and about 2 ft long and about as round as a Hot dog LOL last I saw it it was like 18 maybe 20" Long he has to be about 11 yrs old now ? I put two in there as 1" little ones still looking like fish more then a snake :) I guess the other is still in there also ? I have heard it said they are like a foot long Max ??? So much for books and what they say maybe in the wild they stay at a little smaller ? But being tank fed and no predation they did not consider that ? .. But I have seen many over a ft long upwards of 16 to 20 "

When they get full grown and lose their juvenile coloration, they get "pit ugly" IMO too.
