lol -- yeah, I figured. I spend money on my tank like a drunken sailor on shore leave ... and a whole lot more on wine ;)

I'm in between option 3 and 4. I try to keep my budget down to just maintenance costs, but I still like to buy livestock and upgrades once in a while.

I dont keep track... it would make me go insane.

Typically I buy about $200-300 worth of stuff every 3 months in coral and supplies. But of course, this cost is slightly offset by the money I make selling frags. All in all, right now I am running around spending $50-100 every 3 months on stuff... but as my colonies are producing more frags, this number is getting closer and closer to positive.

I don't record it or keep any evidence of it anywhere. Invoices on boxes are destroyed before the contents are removed and gawd over. If my wife had any idea I'd be shut down faster than mice breed. ;)

Dad pays for much of the tank, as I do not have a job. If I had a job, I am sure half of the money would be saved for college, the rest would go to my tank!

electricity for the tank and maintenance costs probably run about what I was spending for my mortgage 10 years ago.
