How can I Make it shorter!

I have never fragged anything before. I have a leather coral[Golden Crowned Mushroom] that has a long base and would like to make it shorter. Can this be cut and rubber banded back to a rock or does this sound like murder?Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!

 

I dont know...BUT...I seen it done with another mushroom on a video on UTUBE.
You might check it out..Looks pretty simple...but maybe different for that shroom.

Give it stronger light..Or change water flows They get leggy for a reason Lack of something or its being bothered by a near by coarl. Running carbon ?

I'll check out UTUBE to see what I can learn.As far as my tank goes I can see alot of my stuff either not growing or starting to get sm. My fish are doing great .I don't have all the things most of these guys have to run my tank, just the very basic ..hang on the back fillter and a power head with the light that came with it . I'm going to get a t-5 one of these days,[Tangster, your right I don't have enough light]. Getting sad seeing things go backwards. I don't want to give it up ,I've come this far with the help of all you ,I'll just keep asking things until I get it right. thanks!

 

Tangster you asked about carbon ,All I have is a AquaClear hang on the back filter .It has a foam filter ,carbon insert and aBioMax insert also a Algone insert .The LFS told me to use the Algone to help out with some hair Algae on the back of my tank where I don't clean. [Thats the only place that it grows].
