how can i make this work?

i have a 29 gallong tank reg. not bio cube. im going to pick this up today

its 48 inch long though my tank is only 30 in long how can i make this work? i was thinkin of hangng it?

 

its going to over hang big time. only option i see is to hang it. better yet, get a 48" long tank lol problem solved

well you will have 9 inches of overhang on each side so i say just wait till you get a good deal on a 30 inch

 

i would wait for a light that fits unless you plan to upgrade your tank soon. that thing will look hideous hanging over your tank cuz its so big.

 

I'd pass on that one and look for a 24" unit to hang... that will still illuminate the entire tank.

 

It looks like that fixture has adjustable mounting legs. If so, you can adjust them to fit the smaller tank. It will hang over the edge of your 29G about 9 inches on each side.

okay thanks every one. i also have a bigger tank underconstrustion at moment that leaked. so i might get and use it for that long term.. or maybe i should geta bigger tank
