    A 48" fixture will fit a 55g perfectly. :)

    lol this hobby i see will never end. lol if i get a 55 it will be bigger i want bigger for my room. if i get a 55 the light will fit. if i get a 55 i can use my 29 for 125 as a sump becuse the one i bought is to big and does not really fit in stand go figure. seems like only soulution is to buy another tank lmao

    Just get a 10 gallon tank to sit next to the 30 gallon tank :) No overhang....

    How about this. Two pc lights 65 Watts each one white one blue. Complete from bulb to plug 50 bucks. Would that work for my 29g. I was thinkin a self with the lights under. Off the wall. With hinges so I can change bulbs when needed?

    PC lighting is outdated and the bulbs are expensive.

    You also won't get the same PAR as T5. With 2 units you could keep medium-light corals, but nothing more.
