Most power strips have 2 holes in the back. I drilled 2 wholes in my stand with screws and hung the power strip on the screws. I'd show you, but I'm not home right now.

You can also use double sided foam tape in a pinch (if you don't have the holes in the back of the supply), but I wouldn't recommend suspending it over any H20.

+1 This is what I did. Had to staple the velcro to my stand though, as it didnt stick well to the wood.

Don't mount your powerstrip to the aquarium or stand. You will at some point get saltwater on it. Mount it on the wall or build a small bracket. Here's what I did.

I mount to the inside of the stand with a drip loop in the bottom. You won't get water on it if you position it properly.

hey whiskytango, where did you get the strip of switches? i was going to build a box with regular house switches to turn everything on and off without unplugging but that strip would be great because of the compact size. can it handle the amps of return pumps, powerheads and skimmer? one on each switch of coarse.
    p.s. sorry for threadjacking

Do a search for "American DJ Power Center". There are other brands out there as well. It's original intent is for Professional Audio applications.
