How can I remove extra cement off pvc?

    I'd like to remove the excess that got on the outside of the pvc. Thanks.

    Sand paper would be the safest. Solvent can also remove it but it could weaken the bond.

    +1 on Sandpaper - safest - most effective.

    You can always paint the pipe a different color solid. Just make sure the paint can be used on PVC.

    i use a knife at work.. when my pvc work is exposed. dont really half to cut it off just kind drag the knife on the glue and it will scrape it off.

    I used goo gone and sandpaper today, good little workout but it came off for the most part.
