Just to keep it sweet and short and to the point, i have a bullet goby that keeps digging under every rock in my tank, causing the rocks to be supported by the glass without sand, which is worrying me that the glass will crack. Also, he's spitting the sand everywhere, all over my corals and BTA. Im more worried about the glass right now. I keep refilling it, but to no avail.

I know that this is what he does, and he is the best worker in the tank, but its starting to get really annoying. I dont want to take him out though, any ideas??

    Thanks
    - Andrea :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Maybe try a piece of pvc pipe other than that a goby has got to burrow, sorry.

If you knew you wanted a bullet goby, you should have considered placing egg crate between the glass and the rock. However that is out of the question now unless you want to remove all of the rock and sand. There is no way to stop the goby from digging, its what he does. I got rid of mine because he would cover and kill any corals i had on my sandbed. So you either have to get rid of him or deal with it. I dont think you have to worry about the glass braking because most people dont use egg crate and dont have any problems with it. After a few years the rocks would settle through the sand and rest all their weight on the glass anyways.
