how can i tell if my test kits are ok?

i dont know if my test kits are correct. the thing one the bottom says

RM000043-01-1207

are mine still good? if so is there any way that they could have gone bad on me?

 

I have no clue. Just curious, what makes you think they've gone bad?

 

have the lfs do some test for u and see if they match thats the cheaper way of doing it

 

Umm... no idea gexx, are they strips or liquid¿ That sounds more like a [ wierd] serial or production # to me.

 

you can test against things you know of. Or, do a test, take it into your lfs and have them test and compare ( i know you've said that they use strips, but you have more than one LFS right?)

ph would be easy, ro/di water should have a ph of 7.4 I believe.

and the ph of my ro water was 7.4. so maybe my test kits are ok. sorry guys im still learning. and being 14 isnt helping anything. lol

 

the next closest lfs is my fav but its 45 min away. almost everyone there knows me by name lol.
