Starting my hard coral collection with some nice frags but i was wondering about location.
How close should i pack the frags in proximity to others?

Obviously with frags you can pack em together but i'm thinking long term growth.I know you can frag them when the get too big but is there any way to judge what's best in terms of spacing?

Give them 3 to 4" separation for growth.

once they grow together they will just keep growing until one eventually takes over the other's area... but we are talking years here

It doesn't really matter for sps too much. You can space them close together and frag them as they grow to keep them contained or just let them grow, it's up to you.

Keep in mind that some are aggressive as well. Pocis being some of the worst. The slightest touch can kill off the touched area overnight.

Thanks for all the input guys.
It's so tempting to go crazy adding stuff that'll fit in a certain area, especially when dealing with smaller frags. I just wanted to make sure and do things right.
