how cold for how long?

They say by wed 90% of ppl will have power but some ppl r being told atleast 30 days....externo is a good idea I'm going to try that.even firewood is getting scarce here.people are in panic mode and hording.people are lining up at gas stations that don't even have gas.and long lines at that.some places that are closed have 3 hr waits.open stations 5+ hr waits.tonight after work I will be gettin in said line lol 20miles to empty.got a 6 pack ready for the wait.

Going on a week now and still hanging on.

 

okay gotta take up to 72 with boiling to take water with an externo ...can it survive at this temp?

 

I am in Jersey and lost power on sunday night 10/28. Temp in my tank dropped to 61 degrees and was there for a good 48hours. I thought I lost everything but I lost 1 firefish. I have a 150 reef with many corals and a lot of fish. I know a lot of people that lost everything in their tanks. Maybe i just got lucky. When i saw the temp I almost cried. I wouldnt worry if u keep the temp around 70.
