help me make this more of an obsession than it already is. I dream about reefs. I sit at work and read this forum, then look up stuff I don't understand. All of you should be ashamed of yourselves...

Anyway, I am from Charlotte NC, and have been keeping fish (mainly freshwater) since I was eight. I kept nano reefs with mainly mushrooms and random zoanthids until my wife one day brought it to my attention that a real man has a reef tank larger than a 20g. So she walked me into the local fish store (I thought I was just pricing things) and forced me (I was powerless) to purchase the said equipment and commence that day setting up the 55g. A week later, she complained that the 55g was not big enough, and that I needed to consider the 75g in the garage. I had to put my foot down, and say, the next will be a 90g or bigger.....

Currently, I am running the usual: protein skimmer, over-the-back overflow (tank was not predrilled when I purchased it b/c it was originally a fresh tank), poor man's topoff, and 4x 48" T5s. I house a multitude of hermits and turbo snails, along with a handsized green montipora and a smaller brown montipora (not sure on this one), zoanthids, xenia, mushrooms, a green plate, 2x candy canes, brown brain, euphylla, and a very large yellow tang.

Thanks everyone. Thanks for nothing! ::)

These are the only two pics I could post without errors. I think the green one is a montipora. It is the size of a man's hand.

Upload the pic to photobucket then copy the direct link code at the prompt when you click on that little thing at the top that looks like a stamp with a mountain on it. It's the easiest/best way.
