Better watch out using those 15.00 bits and make a damn circle out of plumbers putty about the thickness of a soda straw and fill the ring with some sort of oil I use mineral or cooking oil light motor or transmission juice will do to help cool it and make it spin and not bind. A decient glass bit starts at 80.00 and goes up to a couple of hundred .. They may all look the same but there is a huge difference in the diamond grit quality and steel of the bit.

We used a $15 bit on my friends tank and had no problem. They are only good for like 3-4 holes though.

The big question is if there is a bite mark in the candy.

Those cheap bits work fine, but as stated, keep it lubed, and understand that the bit will not be good for every day use. For most of us that is not a problem.
