Ok this may seem like a dumb question.

I have my tank set up and going good.
But i cant put alot of species in my tanks because the sand (more like gravel) that came with my tank is too course. My horseshoe crab had a hell of a time digging, can't get a diamond goby. (plus it doesnt look real good) So is there a way i can reduce my water to like 50% scoop out 70% of the course sand and replace it with new sand, or like live sand from my LFS?
Will it stir up and hurt my fish or bulb anenome?
( i dont want to have to remove, or re-arrange my LR)
If im an idiot for asking, Feel free to say so haha.
    Thanks!

i just did the same thing a month or two ago. its a pain in the arse, but can be done. You dont need to lower water level, just scoop some out a little each day or so and then when its all gone just add new sand!

Can you take it all out, and switch it all in like a day?
How do i put new in without it going everywhere in the water, and showering everything thats alive.

You could, but i would use Live Sand then so you already have the bacteria colonized. i took mine out over time so bacteria could colonize other places and so it wouldnt make a huge mess ;)
