How do I control or get rid of these?

    It does get a ton darker. That was a pic when I first set it up. Its a very dark green majority of the time. ;D Love it!

    Well I have been lucky for the past 2+ months. But I also have sifters in the tank to combat that.

    What kind of sifters do you have? BTW, I love Clearwater. I'm an ex Tampa Towny and regret leaving.

    You're lucky, Bruh, my Diamond could never keep up with all the light colored detritus all over the sand!

    Black sand does look pretty awesome, for the first part anyways :)

    LOL..I love black sand so no worries. My buddy has white sand and wishes he had black so black sand is not that bad at all. Just a little more work for a sweet look.
