How do I culture Copepods...

I'm using one of the rear chambers on my 24 gallon nano they are multiplying in the hundreds in some filter media I put in there, when I want to move them to my 90 gallon I just move the piece of media over and shake it out

 

I am using my refugium to grow amphipods I introduced them to the refugium by purchasing some cheato from the LFS then after awhile there were hundreds in the refugium. The sand bed in the refugium is raised off the bottom glass by the use of some egg crate and nylon screen. they seem to thrive under there low water flow and low light. Then I just put a cup full of the sand from the fuge in the main tank and have them growing in there as well in and under the rocks.

 

i have a question if i introduce them in my ref i am planning on using a mag 7 pump in the sump to pump it all back to the tank will they get into my main tank that away

 

u can use one of the green baskets strawberries com in, put cheato in it flip it upside down so the fish cant get it
