I have taken the advice of the store where i bought my brain coral and fed it after the lights are off. I take a small piece of krill and feed it that but in the morning i find the krill at the top of the tank. Can anyone help me on what to feed and when?

Wait till its feeder tentacles are out. I feed a small piece of raw shrimp only occasionally.

Is the cyclopeeze any different than just frozen cyclops? I usually just target feeds my rods fish food over the coral, the fish get it and the coral also seem to like it.

Maybe the piece of krill is too big for it to easily digest so it spits it back out, maybe try chopping it up or feeding mysis or smaller foods.
Also, if the food is floating is it dry when you feed it? If it's freeze dried maybe you need to reconstitute it in some water or get some higher quality frozen food.

We feed ours rods and mysis with a turkey baster. At night, it's feeder tentacles will be out so you just touch food to those or squirt food onto those and it will pull the food into it's mouths.

Our brain is the most spoiled thing ever. He normally has his feeders slightly poking out for 1/2 the day, and is quite fat compared to when we bought him :D All he has to put up with is Bo the mantis slinging sand onto him, otherwise he's great.
