How do I figure GPH? Pump suggestions?

    Thanks reef guru, with the links you gave me I think I can probably figure it out. Maybe I should also restate my question and try to make it easier. What submersible pump would give me about 10 gph at 5 feet of head with 2 90 degree bends and 2 45 degree bends?

    goto a web site that sells different pumps and find out the gph for each pump, then play with the numbers from the calculators along with different pumps to figure that out.

    For a 110 gallon tank then what you have now is just about perfect all you want to turn over through the sump and past the skimmer is between 4 and 5 x's per hr the tanks totaly volume and a Mag 12 would be more then you'd but not to much so , since you have a circulation pump in the plans then I'd just stay where I am and mact the skimmer the that flow rate.

    Thanks for asking I'm coming along another 4 weeks and maybe I ca start weight bearing on the leg a little then ? But thats up the the Dr's :)
