How do i know if my sand is dead

    Yea what sushi girl said. You have to get rid of the lava rock and crushed coral and get some live sand and re cycle your tank if you want to "Fix" everything It will be worth it in the end. And the bristle worm is fine. But no it can't fix your tank

    hi its kimberly. got my tank fixed . i think its been fixed for a while . been using test strips, also having tested at petco. i think their strips were bad. got tested with a real test kit at another place , he said my water was great. i now have fish that are alive and doing well. i dont have any frags so would like to see a pic and also need care instructions. thanks alot dont want to kill it when it gets here.im not very good with computers.also how will i be getting this frag.

    hi computer john its kimberly , about my lights i got white , blue and moon lights. its what the petshop owner said i needed. thats all i know.is that what i need?

    post a link to which ones you bought... there are literally thousands of light you could have got how are we supposed to know

    i have solarmaxhe high efficiency double t 5 . independent lamp control, intergrated led moonlights , light amplifying parabolic reflector. deep blue professional 248. that all the box says.

    yes your lights should be fine for most large polyp stoneys and most all soft corals,be sure to let your tank become stable for a bit before adding coral and I would stay away from high maintenance and high light demanding corals.Softies are usually some of the easiest to start with and are more forgiving of your water parameters,then when you got them down,you could move on to more delicate corals.
