Thanks. Sorry I meant the pieces of PVC, like the Tee, Street Ell, etc.

I just got back and I was able to get the basic PVC pieces and cement. I'll order some threaded bulkheads and Loc Line tonight. I didn't see airline tubing at Home Depot, which I thought was weird.

For what its worth I prefer a Stockman standpipe for my overflows versus the Durso. I stick with 1" rather than 1.25" and drill the hole in the standpipe cap large enough to stick a piece of airline tubing down into the standpipe for better flow and quieter operation. I find the Stockman to be more compact so gives you much more room inside the cramped overflow box when you also have the return line coming up through the bottom and out the side. Its nice to have some working room.

I may need to try that in the future, AZ.

So the standpipe can only fit at an angle. I'm thinking of using 1" flexible PVC where I have the 1 1/4" to 1" adapter instead of the regular 1" PVC I currently have there.

Why does it have to be at an angle? Is the bulkhead hole too close to the side(s)? The Stockman should eliminate this problem I would think, you want your standpipe to be plumb so water enters it evenly.

EDIT: Looking at your photo is post #5, it appears the bulkhead hole is well centered and you should not have any clearance issues.

There's nothing wrong with the bulkhead. It's just that the Street Ell is about 1/8" too big :p It's hitting the wall of the overflow.

Search Stockman Standpipe. There is a site that will come up called something like Randystacy something. One of the photos on that site hows how to cut an elbow down and make it more compact but I still much prefer the Stockman design right below it. Mine is actually an older generation of the Stockman with a little different design on the 2" coupling and reducer bushing that Ken came up with maybe 10 years ago.

I actually like the idea of doing a stockman standpipe. I may just do that instead, since the durso won't fit.
