how do i rid my zoas of what looks like a fungus?

    how do i rid my zoas of what looks like a fungus? Its almost like a clear film that is covering my zoas and they arent opening. I cant take a picture cause it wont turn out.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Turkey baster or tooth brush, which ever gets the job done.

    Odd though I can not imaging what maybe cover them. Typically fungus are not that common. Sponges will but you would notice that growing.

    It could be a sponge this morning i started to see some brown in color on it. Would a sponge take over my zoas though? i scrubbed it some with a tooth brush and it came off it pieces so i stopped lol. Oh and i also i tried to turn my MP60 up full and blow it off it didnt come off with lmao everything else in my tank was moving though hahaha

    For me it's always been sponge that started to over take my zoanthids, a soft old tooth brush worked for me.

    You may try increased flow on the colony, sometimes that will help. You could even try a simple fresh water RODI dip, sometimes that will help as well, that really helped my pink button polyps shed some sort of sponge/fungus.
