Name kind of says it all. Most of my aquascape that doesn't have coral really can't be moved easily without destroying everything. Is there something i can use that will set underwater to attach rock to other rock or to secure frag plugs to rock? I need something that i can use underwater and that will stay secure. And ideas? I dont currently have any new corals just for future reference... I know softies and shrooms you can just tie on or temporarily secure until they attach, but what to you guys suggest for SPS and LPS?

Good old reef epoxy (2 part stick) or a big dab of gel superglue works just fine, or a combination of the two.

Do they still have the plug on them? because you can clip it off with scissors and then take some superglue gel and put a nice sized glob on it, and put it on the rock you want it on, hold for about 25-35 seconds and it should be good to go...works everytime for me.

I dont have anything yet... But i'm prolly getting a piece of hammer and the spot i want to stick it is on a rock i cant remove. The piece is in my schools wet lab so i haven't even fragged it yet. So i dont even have to attach it to a plug if i dont want to. So i could put a big glob of gel on it out of water, stick it in the tank and onto the rock and the glue would cause any problems in the water?

Yes; take the coral out of the water, apply the glue, put back underwater, pin animal helplessly to rock. :D

Awesome. I cant believe the glue doesn't do something bad in you put it in wet. Just seems chemicals and tank aren't a good mix lol. Well good to know thanks!

Make sure you remember Epoxy for the boney corals like a hammre and Super glue for the softies like Zoa's and Clove pylops. If you use Epoxy on the Spfties you will kill them due to the heat that is generated as it cures.

Yea thanks gazog. I usually glue my zoas to a small enough rock so i can secure them in there temporarily until they spread and grow onto the rock. Then sometimes I pluck of the original frag, and stick it somewhere else to spread em around.
