I have been busy and haven't really looked at my tank really hard and today I notice what looks like little sunpolyps popping up here and there I will have to get a pic. tomarrow but then tenicles look just like the mother colony there small still so its hard to tell if the base is bright orange but the tenicles are definetly yellow. I just want to make sure that this isnt some kind of anemone.
So I know u need a pic. but how do sunpolyps spread?

I believe they spread about the same way as zoas. the matt creeps along and polyps grow out of it.

well they are sunpolyps. they are all closed up now. I just thought that they did spread like a zoa's. maybe its because an edge of the coral was damage by a mushroom that decided to make a home next to it. There is a few polyps that are slowly vanishing from the damage area so the frags from these polyps must have attached them selfs in different spots.
There are 7 individual tiny polyps that I can see on either end of the tank and away from direct light.
