How do you acclimate your fish?

I prefer husky!!!! LOL!!!!

 

Husky stops at about 13 or 14 after that is just big boned I myself just call it being built for comfort as my speeding days are far far behind me . No longer a Corvette but a Cadillac now is I

Nice! Hey as a side note I used this method for a couple of my fish that got transferred to my QT and guess what? No apparent stress and no losses.

As for trying this with lion fish.... me still scured. :-/

 

Yeah, lion fish I would take a pass on. No need to soil myself in front of my fish. :-[

 

I do it the way otty does it, more sensitive fish ill dump less than a 1/4 cup into at a time but do it longer. Maybe a 1/8 of a cup for 3 or four hours with the lights off as they float in the bag. Never dump water in from the local fish stores tank.

 

wow i created this thread with the thought that it would be peaceful.ladies and gents nomore disrespect.happiness is the key.but with all that said its great info from everyone.im sure someone will use one of the many methods or add more methods used to acclimate the fish we purchase and raise.
