Using a 5 gallon bucket. I have a 55g barrel in the garage with RO/DI water in it, and when its time to top off the tank, I just use my 5 gallon bucket, and pour it in the tank.

I fill a 5 gallon bucket with RO/DI water, put in a small Maxi Jet pump, put in a heater and add the proper amount of salt mix. I wait at least 24 hours and then siphon out 5 gallons from the tank and/or sump into another 5 gallon bucket by hand. I have to turn off my pumps and skimmer before siphoning out the tank water. I prefer to siphon by hand so I can suck out any detritus that has accumulated. Then I pump in the new salt water by attaching the siphon hose to the Maxi Jet pump already in that bucket.

I wait for my ato to run dry, fill it up with saltwater and use a drip line to take water out. Ato slowly fills over about an hour.

    I don't do water changes, sorry but I don't.
I hop up the tank with a bucket of water from my water filter, I don't add additional salt unless it's low, and I simply pour the water straight in from the bucket, I don't let the water stand, just fil the bucket up and pour it in.
    I don't go through everything that you guys seem to, and I don't have any issues. . . . . . . . . .
