How do you clean the skimmer collection cup ?

    i am pretty hi-tech with this....i clean it with an electric tooth brush ;)

    I put it in my wives dishwasher! She love's it! SHHHHH don't tell her!

    I hold my nose with one hand and clean out the gunk with the other. Yeah, that's right....I'm not afraid to touch skimmer gunk.....what about it?! :)

    I thought this was a give, I don't hold my nose though. I just use my hands to rub the grim away, rinse and reapply to skimmer. Makes you really appreciate the hobby i think!

    Nuh unh...I see a lot of folks using toothbrushes and other tools to clean out their cups. You and I are hardcore :)

    From the start I never used anything else. I figure it is the same thing when we swim in the ocean. All that white foam on the beach "WHAT DO YOU THINK THAT STUFF IS". YEAH IT'S FISH POOP STAN! All those people having fun in the skim-mate. So why use a toothbrush.

    Make you cringe does'nt it.

    a bottle brush and plenty of hot water does it for me- I only empty it when it looks like it needs it- it seems to have a cycle to how fast it fills- different at different times

    First, I make sure that my nose doesn't get anywhere close to the green/brown gunk. :D
    Then it gets blasted by the spayer attachment in the sink.
