Well, I was just doing some maintenance on my tank, when I thought, how do others do this. I know we all want as clean of a glass as possible to see our beautiful inhabitants in our tanks.

So, how do you clean your aquarium glass, to get that crystal clear viewing experience?

I just scrubbed the inside of my glass with a scratch pad on a wand, and cleaned the outside with some baby wipes and buffed the streaks out with a soft cloth. Looks pretty good until my 2 year old starts putting his hands on the glass. lol

Basically the same for the inside, but I bought mine from the FS it has a long plastic handle with an abrasive sponge on the other end. Outside I spray windex onto a paper towel and wipe off streaks with a towel.

I first wet a papertowel with RO/DI water, then wipe down all viewing sides. I let this dry (because its RO/DI, it really doesn't streak), and then just use a mag-float to clean the inside. Comes out sparkling clean :)

mag float wth a peice of filter floss inbeween the glass and mag float. works really well actually.
mag flip with razor attached for the harder stuff.
outside spray windex on paper towel (away from the tank) then wipe it down.

I leave my small one for my sump in the sump, but the big one for the DT I take out and clean after each use. Just an eye sore IMO, although I know plenty do leave it in.

I keep mine in a back, upper corner of my tank. You can't even see it unless you squat down to look at the tank (Biocube 29)

I have thought about buying one of the flipper, but I can't see spending 40 dollars for that. I would be to afraid of scraping the silicone of the corners, lol.
