    You could cycle with live rock and food. . . its what i did. Went 2 and a half weeks and i was good to go! Went through my cycle and everything is living happy now! My Styla is kickin butt too! Its doubled its size in the few weeks i've had it.

    Agreed, it took less than two weeks for two separate tanks to cycle using live rock and a little food :)

    Since I used 20lbs of sand from a previous tank and 10 gallons of water from one of my other tanks it seems to already be cycling. So no mollies for me. :) I also use bottled bacteria, and there is live rock in there. I guess I never realized that I've been cycling two different ways at once this whole time. Now that's been brought to my attention, I won't waste time with mollies anymore. Lol.

    Use Turbostart for freshwater. Or you could take an easier, less expensive route and drop some flakes in. :)
