I've found using my standard siphon cylinder with hose not the greatest for getting cyano off the sand bed. I removed the cylinder and just used the hose and it sucks like a champ. it does take quite of sand with it. but save the sand at the bottom of bucket and rinse it off and throw back into tank.

I usally use some cleaner tank water or ro probly be ok too. I have mostly CC than sand.. but should be the same. just hold the hose like 1/4" above the sand, it takes practice to do it without sucking out a pound of sand.. if cyano keeps coming back after many attempts like for me, i used chemi-clean a week ago.. cyano free.. did have 1 sps frag brown out though..

I dont see anything out of place with your setup or parameters.
first suggestion is to increase the flow to the areas your getting cyano.
second thing is to email john at reefcleaners.org by filling out the custom CUC form in this link. based on what he had me add you are way short on the cleaning crew. I highly suggest adding mangroves to the fuge as well.

I agree with telgar I have way more in my 106 gal tank.Just keep in mind that if they get it really clean you will have to put in algae sheet pieces and maybe overfeed just now and then to keep them going for the next time it gets out of control.I know kinda a vicious circle huh?
