How do you get you're water so clean?

    you really need at least 2 PH in a 110 and the return, you need a PH to aggitate the surface

    Definitely need more powerheads. I have 4 in my 115g.

    OK I will add another power head, at the moment I have my sump return sideways so it moves the surface and under the water and I have another blowing down towards the bottom.

    Towards the bottom ? Is that by any chance stiring the sand up ?

    No its at about a 45 degree angle, and my engineer gobies have moved all the sand from the area the power head faces. The power head is the one on the top right of the tank in the pictures I posted.

    Hopefully its will clear I have added another power head to get some random flows going in the tank. Thanks for the help.
