We have been using a BBQ skewer held in place with our Mag-Flip to place tasty morsels for our tank crew. I thought it would be interesting to see what other methods members use?

Here is a skewer in place held by the magnets in the Mag-Flip. The skewer is chrome plated steel and is now 5 months old with no sign of corrosion. It is only in for a few hours at a time.

The tank mates will share the morsels as this Six Line and Coral Banded shrimp are doing. The Six Line teases the shrimp by swimming through its antenna.

Throwing in chunks of shrimp sort of disrupted the tank chemistry for a brief time. We wanted to retrieve the food once they had their fun and fill. Also, certain critters hang out in their caves and usually do not come out till after lights out. Being able to precisely place the tidbits sort brought them out. Now they come out more often on their own while the lights are on.
