Turn the skimmer off, epoxy away, start the skimmer on the lower setting and work my way back up through the day. :)

super glue GEL or exopy putty (plumbers style)

dry rock before using super glue pat dry bottom of frag being glued.

place glue on both surfaces.. place object against other object. hold for 1 minute while lightly blowing on glue joint. then carefully lower frag/rock into tank. once its been in the water a few minutes it will totally cure. done. have a nice fraggin day!

fyi: If you want to frag to a big rock underwater without taking it out of the water then super glue may not be the answer. I usally find a small piece of rock and glue frag to that (outside of water) and place on big rock in tank with exopy putty.

It seems epoxy is the best for large corals because it allows more time to place, you can make a larger base to set the coral on and any other unique features you need for success.

i posted somewhere else a bit ago, the best thing i've used is Loctite Control Gel. its the same cyanoacrylate as any other superglue but it's very thick. stays on the frag and you can squish it wherever. i usually twist it around to make sure i got contact everywhere and hold it for 30 seconds. no big deal
