how do you know when your Phos remover is all used up?

    title pretty much sums it up. i am using rowphos and i have 300grams in my canister filter. how do i know when i need to replace it? thanks

    Hi Ranger

    when you either cant reach 0 or when you have 0 and then it starts to climb again
    both these instances indicate the media is exhausted

    thats what i was thinking so you just have to keep an eye on it?

    Yeah , test for P04 monitor levels all the time they are decreasing or maintaining at 0 - your fine, when they either stop decreasing or increase
    time to change the media
