How do you lower your PH

    Yeah... those hydrometers are tricky.. Hard to get all the bubbles off the needle.. don't forget you have to take into account the temperature when reading those things.

    i just did the salanity testings a few minutes, according to puffer's tank it's 82-78, so i would imagine my 46 would be the same, i don't have a heater plugged into the puffers, but the 46, the heater is set at 76

    Well.. I mean there's a chart that usually comes with a hydrometer.. .what reads 1.027 could be way off depending on the temperature.

    I run my salinty at 1.025 this way if i do lose water due to evap the slight increase doesnt harm anything

    i think i wll have to make an emergency buy and buy one soon, i thnk i'll pay off my c.c. some today and buy one, even if that's the only thing i buy, because before i get my C.U.C. which will be going in first and fish, i want to make it stable, and the water i get from the lfs salanity is 1.023 so i need to really get it back down before i put anything in it
