How do you move a anemone?

    u mean there not toys to bounce around ur tank lol im only jokn guys. ive tried to place mine in a few spots but it just wasn'tt happy and moved where ever he wanted wich is cool.............however mine tend to "blow" up.foot base and all.i know its normal for the tenticles to soar out when the lights are on but what about the foot area....

    I have seen guys put them on the end of rocks and then blow a PH right at the top of them and they stay where they are placed. I wouldn't believe this if I didn't see if for myself on a tank move.

    If its attached to a very holey rock it is very hard, it might be attached inside one of the "holes". I ripped the foot of a BTA this way. But if they are attached to something/somewhere flat it's not that hard, being gentle you can get your finger between and go side to side slowly letting it loose.

    If you will take the end of your finger and place it kind of curcular around the base of the foot and very gently push a sec and let off and repeat those steps he will get tired and detach his foot from where he is at. if it is in a hole in a rock DO NOT attempt to move him. I would not use a powerhead and blow him off like that. It could damage him.. But why would you want to move him to begin eith...let him pick his place not you...

    Use an ice cube. Just touch the ice cube to its foot for a bit and it will let go. Works every time and wont hurt the foot.
