    There really are no pronunciation rules for taxonomic Latin names...the rules that apply to what you might call "conversational Latin" just don't fit some of the crazy "Latin" names scientists have dreamed up in the identification of various species. That said, I would tend to agree with the pronunciation of Chaetomorpha as "Key-toe-morph-ah" or "Key-toe" for short.

    I think it has more of and I sound the diphthong ae sounds like eye. And classical Latin a c sounds like the c in cart. So shouldnt it be more like c-eye-to? Almost like kite-o
