    My garden is 25' by 20' and very productive. Here are the potatoes i recently harvested. Its about 65-70lbs. I live in Amish country so the land is perfect for farming.

    You mean it's well fertilized,lol,I live in a little Amish territory myself.

    LG and FB,sweet green thumbs guys!

    My small 12' by 10' got blossom end rot last year and took out most everything,so this year I just went with just a couple tomatoe plants and a zucchini,they grow and bud,but still rot on the bottom of the fruits.Think it's time for some soil sampling,lime and some compost for a year or two :(

    yup..sometimes ya gotta revitalize the soil.. I love the boxes..I add all my compost(scraps) to it throughout the year..then some nutrients..and its a wrap. : )

    If you water at night when there is no time for the plant to dry you can get blossom end rot too.
    For a while last year I had that problem till I read about it and stopped watering in the evening. I knew it wasn't the soil as I had added compost and ash and such.
