I just bought a yellow watchman goby and put him in and was cleaning some algae earlier in the day and spooked him into a corner behind my anemone and my clowns and they wouldnt let him come out so when the lights turned off i tried to get him out of there by kind of annoying him and he swam out and straight into my anemone and my anemone snatched shut almost instantly. So I pulled my anemone out and brushed through the tentacles and then looked in its mouth sort of and the "drained" the water out and with it being so small IDK if a fish could even be in there but I was wondering how fast can they eat a fish?!

the stinging cells of the anemone probably killed it or its in shock, it would be like you getting stung by hundreds of bees.
I don't think the anemone swallowed it that quick tho

i've seen my GoM anemones (about the size of a quarter) swallow half a silverside in about 20 seconds... (silverside was about size of maybe half a BIC pen cap)
