BTA just blasted through my powerhead. Just did waterchange yesterday...making water now...as soon as I hit salinity can I add it without causing more problems?

i'd give it at least an hour to make sure its all dissolved and it reaches salinity. It generally eeks up a bit over a few hours.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    What salt mix?

Test for ammonia and add prime as appropriate. Do a water change when the salt is completely mixed, with some salts that may take a few hours at least. Corals get very stressed unless the salt is not completely mixed.

How big of tank? and how old?

Guys if ya can go get more carbon, do. If not, get the WC's ready and go in the morning and buy some new water. You'll prob be ok, but may as well spend a few bucks to insure it.

    Good luck to ya
