Hi I have a 90 gallon and it's been running for a couple weeks. There are currently 2 clown fish and 2 cleaner shrimp and some snails and hermit crabs. There is about 100 lbs of live rock and the tank has cycled and the levels are all good. How long should I wait to add more fish? And then how long before i add the next set? Thank you!

if your params are good and have been for a while with the fish in your tank then i would say add another fish (smaller the better) and see how that goes. what are your stocking plans?

I can tell you what my rule is... although others may have better thought out rules...

If all parameters are good for a month, I can add. I also figured that I did not want to increase the biomass too fast to over load the bacteria. So I arbitrarily chose to not increase the biomass by more than 10% of the existing mass. That 10% could be 2 small things or one large.

    Just trying to "go slow"...

definitely a good point. many people would consider my stocking too fast/ too quick; but i chose to take that risk. 2 weeks is pretty young.

    I want to eventually have:

    1 yellow tang
    6 light blue chromis
2 percula clownfish (the clowns are already in the tank)
1 blue spotted sleeper goby or orange spot diamond goby
    1 tail spot blenny
    1 Neon Pseudochromis

that seems like a good list! i would add the blenny next then the chromis a bit later. i added a orange spot diamond goby just 2 weeks after end of cycle and lost him along with a gumdrop goby so IMO wait a bit for the gobys

Looks like a solid list... Add the goby and the Tang last. I would space at least 3 weeks in between every addition to see if your tank is adjusting properly.

i would do 3 and 3, with one to two week spread. they like odd numbers, so maybe youd be better off with 5 or 7?
