What are you looking to put it on? They get a bum rap alot of times, but I've had nothing but good luck from them. I probably wouldn't put them on any thing over a 90 gallon, but up to that size they work great. I run a seaclone 100 on my 55 and its top notch.

If this is for the 10 gal, Premium Aquatics has a new skimmer specifically for nanos. Check it out here

The size of a soda can! Don't know how well it works but the price looks right for a nano!

Are you going to run a sump on your 75. The reason I ask is, the trick to getting seaclone skimmers to work right is having them in the sump with a constant water level. This is accomplished on my sump by placing a plexiglass baffle in the sump and having your overflow from you main tank go into that side of your sump. Then when you place you skimmer in the same side you've got a constant water level. No joke I haven't adjusted or messed with my skimmer (except for cleaning out the collection cup) in 8 months.

the seaclone does work, but not as well as alot of the bigger and better protein skimmers. I recently upgraded my seaclone to a turboflotor and the turboflotor easily produces 2-3 times more skimmate than the seaclone. I think the seaclone is a little too small for a 75 gallon. With that said, if you do get a seaclone, I agree with telman, it works better in a sump.

i agree with dax. there are better skimmers out there. however those skimmers can be expensive and big. depending on your sump size and budget those really good skimmers might not be so good for you. the aqua c remora and urchin are excellent skimmers as well. most will say they are better than the seaclone. i personally have no experience with them.
