I have a hammer coral which had 2 heads. One of he heads is already dividing; however, I have noticed about 6 little growths coming from the stalk of the hammer. They are about 2-3 mm in diameter and look similar to a soft coral.

I am wondering if these are potential new heads or if there is to be of any concern.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Euphyllia grow by budding and producing new skeletal growth. Sounds like the coral is doing fine as long as it's expanding completely.

Yes post an image if you can.

I cant get an accurate picture as its very small. However, I believe its growing properly. All the corals are doing really well. Im just hoping that the hammer is growing new heads every where. Kind of excited.

Is your hammer branching or wall??

If its branching and and is what i think you're talking that's how new branch grows. They came like small dots from the lower skeleton.
